Have a new member joining the family?

I cannot recommend this book or any book by this author more highly. We often believe dogs are seamlessly supposed to fit into our homes and lives. I remember doing my former dogs a huge disservice – to put it mildly – because I did not understand all that is dog. While I’m not claiming to be an expert, I have learned a great deal through the years about this wonderfully different than us species. Let dogs be dogs and learn the best ways to teach them. Learning is not just about training.
